great!!.. Jacksonville... I wasn't too far about a week ago... I went to Leesburg for the BikeFest... about 130 miles south of Jacksonville... yeah man!!!.. I want to take videos riding with the Jockey shifter.. I rode straight from Leesburg back to Accept's concert in Miami... this weekend Iron Maiden plays here.. good times!
Just got a 2003 1200C and this site is inspiring me to work on my bike... just need to clean up my baby barn for work area...Lots of great work and ideas. keep it coming every one... Don't have to pay the stealer for a nice looking ride!!
well....bike's all buttoned up. got my batt. cover back from the powdercoater the other day and slapped it on and took it for a ride. everything held up good. i did bottom out the fender twice though on two big *** pot holes but i think if i dial out the rebound on my shox i should be able to do away with that. it wasn''t bad but it did scrape. i'm definitely gonna look into mounting a new fender to the swingarm so i can slam the fender super close to the wheel and bottoming out will be a thing of the past. here's some completed pics. i tapped a lot of people (too many to remember at the moment but you know who you are) on the site so thanks for everyone's tips, help and advise.....
thanks papa! hoping to be in the market for an older sporty soon too. i'm in the process of moving (gonna have a nice full size garage, WooHoo) and i'm thinking about getting a nice table lift to put in there and start a cafe build. fingers crossed!!!!
