I'm from Northwestern Ontario. Learned to ride when my son was 2 yrs old (he's 28 now). Had a few smaller (non-Harley's) through the years. Only been riding my Fatboy since 2002 (my 1st Harley).
I live in Montana and have been riding for only about 3 months. I took the MSC in July and got my first and only Harley 883 custom the end of August. A gift to myself for my birthday. My husband doesn't ride. Now that he sees how much fun I am having with it, I think he will probably take the MSC next summer and join me. For now, I dont mind riding alone. I have really been enjoying it.
I live in Lancaster Pa. I started riding in April of this year, took the msf in june. I started on a honda rebel and after passing the course moved onto my 2006 883L. I love it. I never thought I would be able to handle it, but after taking that course I was good to go. Starting with the rebel helped alot. I rode on the back of dhs bike for years, now I prefer to be behind or in front of him on my own.
I started riding about 5 years ago on an 883 hugger and now ride a Heritage. I've been riding on the back since I was a kid and decided it was time to move to the front seat. I'm in texas so we practically ride all year.
I am in Albany NY, 23 yrs old, I took my MSF course Sept 10th '06 and passed and went striaght to the harley store to order my 883 low. It came in last week and it has been raining ever sence
Lady here from Deer Park Texas (originally from Baton Rouge), been riding on the back seat for about 5 years. One of these days I may get my own bike but for now I enjoy being on the back of our Road Glide. I love riding, a good way for me to de-stress after a long day at work.
I'm in Newnan, GA and just bought a 2005 Sporty 883 Custom that has been lowered an inch since it's not a low. Am trying to get my MSC scheduled now for November as I rode the bike up and down my long concrete drive a couple of times and quickly decided that I would not be doing more than that until I got my safety course done. These bikes are heavy! But really looking forward to getting out there once that's completed. I need to have the 1000 mile servicing done on my bike and want to get an engine guard installed then. My husband who is a noob too is getting a 2006 Sporty 1200 custom.
Cajunchick, I loved your signature about Barbie - so true!
