I'd PROUDLY ride a Sportster if I weren't 6'3" tall...I like 'em but as it is I had to put a set of 3" forwards on my Standard just to get some x-tra leg room. I guess people think they're chick bikes because there smaller in overall size and CC's than the "big twins"...WRONG!
not even going there!!!!! do a search on donny peterson heavy duty cycles about sportsters as being a girls bike. I don't think so. I posted the artical before, so have fun with your ride
All my friends have BTwins and all they have to say are good things, What i would like to see is a big twin able to pull the front end off the ground 3 feeet and land it, my sporty will do it with ease and i think it likes it. Now keep in mind this is only done in front of the house messin around. i dont race the streets doin it.
Check out the videos section of this site. There are some Dynas doing wheelies. My favorite is a video of a souped up street glide ridding a wheelie!!
Ive yet to hear the 'girls bike' comment from HD riders. I heard it from 2 idiots who dont even own bikes, and another guy on a metric cruiser. I had a few other HD guys call it a 'shortster' then I reminded them that their softail sits lower than my shortster. Hmm.
