I tried everything that I could to get the wires in. I used dish soap, four different pull strings, fishing line with a nut on it to get the string through then used a vacuum to suck a string through. After six hours, I got one wire half the way in and broke or pulledfive or six different pull strings off the wires. I tried pushing mostly and then pull a little back and forth.
I honestly thing that the bars just had to much slag in them from the welding job. I could feel the string/wire hang up after the first bend, then when pulling it out it would snag really bad.
Those are some sweet look'n bars - better look vs. drag (IMO) & I'd say it's probably nearly impossible to get stock cables through those internally...would need something a tad more flexible.
Time to pull the A/C warning label & reflectors off too. Another recommendation is to swap, or powdercoat your rims black - would look good w/the white tins. Nice sporty - keep up the good work.
Love the bar and would not trade then for drags if I had them. I love drags, but thoes are sweet! Forwards are a must on any Sporty and I'm only 5'8" . I'm not a fan of the seat you have comming, but there's worse looking out there. The HD reach solo seat is nice looking, comfortable and cost less. I have one the love it, but took it off since I ride 2-up all the time.
I ran my wires one at a time thru the bars and I swear to u that nobody ever heard so man cuss words on ur life! better then wires hangin though. Hit me up and i can give ya tips on what i did to get all my wires thru.

HOOOOAH!!! Bars look killer! So besides the seat, what's the next mod you have in mind?
When I get funds, I plan on putting Bassani Sweepers on the bike.
Paint: Just not sure what I want yet. I really like the white, but would rather have green pearl than gold that is in it now. Or some tribal ghost work or something. I know for sure the POW MIA emblem will be getting painted on the rear fender. Though about doing the POW MIA in ghost paint on the fender and on the top of the tank. Something subtle.

I tried everything! One at a time, multiple, and just the wires and pull string got hung up every time. I really think that the bars have to much slag in the pipes from the welding. Nothing can really be done about that except return them, but then I couldn't ride till I got the next set of bars. I had already cut the wires and got them to length. First time working on a bike so, I am learning that is for sure.

The POW MIA is one of the mods I have in mind. I want to put it on my battery cover though straight black and white so it really stands out (The frying pan is because my daughter wanted to pick a smily)
