Default 08' XL883L Before and after Pictures....;-)

Ebay, forward controls with Z bars.

I fought for over 6 hours to internally wire those bars and gave up and just put them on so I could ride. I think I am going to leave it or change them out for Drag bars, not sure yet.

I have a Mustang Vintage Solo seat on order and can't wait for my butt to be happy again!

Good lookin' bike. I'm still riding the stock seat and I could only imagine how much better a new seat can be. I'm still waiting to throw a spring seat on.

Nice ride. I like the bars, but I'd rather do taller z's or drags.

Thanks....

Street: I like the lower bars, it gets me leaning forward a bit. I feel better at higher speeds leaning forward a bit. If I ever get a windshield, I might get a little higher.

If you are not very young you will soon tire of those bars.

This is true...but if you're like me and you are young you can get away with it they look good.

Now you just need to get rid of that huge warning sticker on the air cleaner...

Looking good! I can only imagine how tough those bars would be to internally wire. I had a bit of trouble with my 10" Z's but managed to get it done.

Tie a piece of string to the wires and stick it through the hole, use a vacuum on the other end to pull the string, then just pull the wires through.

Yup, did that. It was the actual pulling of the wires through the turns in the bars that was giving me so much trouble. I eventually got 'em though. I also heard that putting dish soap around the wires can really help make things easier. That was after I was finished though so I don't really know how well that would work but sounds like a great idea!
