One thing to keep in mind. These ECMS do some amount of learning as we ride. If making a change to the AC, exhaust or fuel, it might help to disconnect battery power for at least 30 minutes to allow the ECM to 'reset' itself. This will allow it to learn your new configuration and make the minor self adjustments.

Quick question on this. I installed the newest fuel pack on my 2013 1200. When I turn on the ignition it doesnt activate the fuel pack. It will only turn the fuel pack on once I start the bike. Is this normal? I had to have the bike running to enter all the values into the unit.

No, it should activate with just the key on ... not running. Otherwise you could not calibrate the throttle.

On the new LCD one in the instructions that I just verified it says that you have to start the engine to activate the Fuel Pak. It also doesn't say anything about calibrating the throttle like the old one does. I guess maybe the new one is different somehow.

Call Vance and Hines. ...they will give you some changes. If it works .... great. If it doesn't well at least you have an idea of which settings to tinker with. Just remember to keeo a copy of your original settings to fall back to
