Well looked at the bike tonight checked terminals, they were ok. Checked plugs, they were fine. On to the codes which thanks to cHarley showed two code. One was the front o2sensor and another was the rear o2sensor. Cleared the codes took the x14ieds off and went for a short ride prolly six miles. Guess what no wierd stall out or speedo movement. Got home rechecked codes all clear. Think we got her, find out tomorrow on the ride to work that's more like a sixteen mile ride. Once again thanks again for your help

I got those 2 codes when mine was acting up, pulled the fuel pak off, pulled my pipes off and reinstalled making sure they were tight, took out the 02 sensors and reinstalled and made sure they were tight. And of course pulled the speed sensor and cleaned it. I added the xied's after I did that and no problems with the speedo or the engine screwing up.

My experience is similar and the whole time the battery cables appeared to be well attached. I wound up taking all 4 cable ends off (one at a time - after disconnecting the negative cable on the battery), wire brushed them, applied some dielectric grease, reattached each cable end tightly, and the problem was eliminated. Sometimes it's the simple things that get you.
