Default Front Blinker Relocation

I just picked up an '08 Nightster for the GF the other night and want to get started converting it to a bobber. I've been eyeballing blinker relocation kits for it. I dont like the HD kit, it looks like it pushes the blinker too far out.

I saw this kit online and can't figure out for the life of me how this would mount to the triple tree. Is anyone running these brackets?

Thanks!!

I've got the HD kit. If you look at the pic of the Arlen Ness mount one of the bolt holes on the new mount lines up with the rear bolt on the triple clamp. Run your clamp bolt through it with the curved portion of the mount curving around the clamp toward the front. The other hole in the new mount at the front is where the turn signal attaches. Theres a bolt that goes through that from the fork side and attaches to the turn signal. It's not exactly shaped like the HD mount but very similar type of attachment. And it looks to me like the location of the signal would be much closer to the forks than the HD kit, right in tight. Should look good.

These aren't the Arlen Ness brackets, but they're the same idea. They wrap around the upper or lower triple clamp. I had to shave a little off here and there to get the radii to match up nice and powder coated 'em. Also, I installed a spacer between the mounts and the turnsignal housing because I like the look and my headlight doesn't wash-out the turnsignals so much.

Harley's version look like outriggers:

They look better on the OL's bike with a windshield:

Yeah, after I started this thread, I printed a picture of them and stood staring at the bike and the picture and came to the same conclusion about wrapping around the triple tree and using the pinch bolt to mount.

I think thats the way Im going to roll. It brings 'em in nice and tight!

Thanks!!

I just relocated my front to back and switched yellow covers to red mounted to frame. Is it a law to have front?

It depends on the state. California does.
