There was a discount code in the add that made it $99 with shipping.
So I received it in the mail yesterday and slapped it in....I went for a quick ride and the Seat of the pants was not very impressive. This morning I rode to work and it felt good, I am hoping it provides better mileage but only time will tell.
Trust me Charley I am as big a skeptic as they come...but hey ya never know. Besides everything "NEW" these days is or has a gimmick. It was one of those ah what the hell moments.
If its made by boyesen it is sure to have a ton of r&d hours. They used to be a top engine builder for motocross. I had there motor work done on my bikes n there work was top notch. I saw this product at a local dealer and was thinking of trying it as well.
There was a big deal about this over at the xl forum. the guys from nhrs did a dyno test and they found no improvement in performance. I don't know about mileage so I am interested to see what you find out.
