Wouldn't you be able to just measure one of the bolts still intact?
Or is the bike at home as well?
I went to the local dealer and they were out of the bolts, but said that they were most likely 5/16" flange nuts. Picked up a few at the hardware store, but they didn't seem to fit. Maybe it was because the bike was hot, not sure. Ideas?

I hate when people say "most likely". Only means they don't wanna spend the time to comfirm for you. I'm looking through my manual, but other than telling the torque specs I can't find anything regarding size.
If you're talking about the nut and not the stud that the nut goes on, then you need a 5/16-24 Flange Nut (HD Part #7593). The wrench or socket size to tighten the nut is 1/2 inch.
If it is the nut, then ask your dealer if they have the acorn nuts for your OEM mirrors. They are also 5/16-24 and could be used as a temporary fix.
