negative battery cable
Does anyone else have this problem?...
The negative battery cable on my 2004 Sportster is really short. To get the battery off, I have to take the rear exhaust pipe & sprocket cover off so I can get in there and turn the screw that goes to the ground on the starter motor, then loosen that end. I don't think Harley makes them longer.
Can I go to an autoparts store and get a longer one, or make one that would give me 6" more?
