XiED question

This may be a stupid question or already been answered but if I do the 1 3/4" baffle removal mod & the cheap air filter mod will the XiED's be good enough for now? I understand they won't add performance but I'm wanting to make sure I don't damage my engine w/the mods & using just the XiED's. I'm trying like hell to find a used set of the XiED's right now.

You should be fine with them with that set up. But what year bike are you talking about so we have some more info to go by.

You will be fine. I'm running Cycle Shacks, K&N Air Charger and XiEDs on my N and the bike runs great. I started with X14iEDs and it didn't run as well as it does now with the XiEDs.

I have XiEDs on my 2012 Iron with Vance and Hines Shortshots. Ill be switching out the air cleaner soon and be sticking with the XiEDs. The XiEDs are great. I'd say you'll be fine.
