I think it's a "surprise" depending on how it works out, and he's probably eluded to it in other posts / threads, but my guess is some sort of Z bar like mini-ape...???

I actually like the look of the 1-1/2" bars. They go well I think with the fat front end. The bar position is exactly what I wanted. Very comfortable position for me. I'm not completely sold on them yet...they look a little high to me, but I want to wait until we get the tank in its final position before making a final determination. If I go lower, it's going to be less comfortable, so I'll have to work out the trade offs between looks and comfort later.
sorry mate but I'm jus not lovin them bars, all down to personal taste.im not a built in riser type of bloke...top job on the rest though
Ya, I'm not sold on em either swordy. With the lower tank they may just be too tall. The more I look at the pics the less I Like em. Still gonna wait until the tank is in its final position. But I DO like the fat bars...
I never thought bars should be at the same angle as the forks. Rule of thumb: The bars should be 90 degrees from the floor or further. The t-bars are unadjustable.... ugh....

I guess what I'm looking for are bars that blend with and add to the aggressive look and feel of the bike while providing some level of comfort for me so I can ride it for more than a few miles. These are comfortable but they look like an after thought, just stuck on top of the clamps. While I can appreciate the forward angle style of some bars on some bikes, street, that's not really the style I like for this build. I'm still looking. Comments appreciated though.
Hey Ergo, how wide is your rear fender, or width between struts?
I like the bars for the most part, but they look like they have too much pullback, other than that I think they look great.
Thanks hog.
Its the standard Nightster rear fender and struts. Not sure what the width is...I haven't measured. I'll try to remember the next time I'm at the shop, or maybe someone else knows.
