just tried metal polish and it's not coming out...at least i didn't fuct it up worse...really sucks, she's brand new...and i don't have a cat but there are a few around so it's possible...
Try bug & tar remover but stay with it, don't let it run anywhere off that rocker box. First try put it on and take it off fairly quickly and see if it makes a difference, if it does, put it on again and let it sit and work its' magic.......
After looking closer, that stuff looks somewhat like it ate into the clear coat on the aluminum, you didn't happen to use any brakleen on anything in that area did you? That stuff eats the clear coat right off aluminum.
If it isn't bird poop. I was thinking brake fluid or something. Like I was saying. My front brake cylinder gasket started leaking at around 80 mph.
Got everywhere on the trees, bars, rocker boxes, tank.
It came of the tank without spotting, but the boxes and trees were bad. I took Never Dull (i think what it was/is called), and rubbed it with microfiber forever, and then whipped it off. Then used Windex to clean the trees.
The boxes took a buffer wheel on a variable drill and aluminum polish to get the pits out. It worked, but it was rough. I took it slow with white brick, and finished up with red. Then I used the Never Dull. They turned out like new. Just like nothing was ever there.
had used only water before it appeared...yesterday tried mother's wheel polish, aluminum safe, and didn't come off...the positive is that no one thinks it' oil...i keep reminding me it's a material thing but i work damn hard and put up with a lot sheeet to be able to afford her...thanks everyone
