Default air cleaner thoughts..
I am looking to replace the stock air cleaner on my 00 883 hugger..I want one that doesn't stick out any farther than stock, and I want it to look cool....any ideas...and I need to be able to buy it (I am not into manufacturing) ...pictures are a bonus....

The Screamin Eagle air cleaner uses the stock Ham can cover. Looks almost the same as stock. I happened to like that look, and have been well satisfied with the performance of that Cleaner.

I had this one made by firgure engineering, no extra cost over their stock designs. Havent got it on yet (hopefully today). It should go well with the motif Im taking the bike in.

I fabbed a 96" AC on mine. Just wanted something different and unique without having to tune the bike. I took off the ring (because it is not a 96" engine) and will be fabricating a new one.

Just got it on and took it for a spin. You can definitely hear the air suckin now To the OP, it does stick out further than stock so you may not like it.

I put the new Screamin Eagle round stage 1 on my Sportster. A pleasant surprise was that it stuck out LESS than the stock "ham cam." With the "smooth air cleaner cover" from H-D, I thought it had a classic look.
