Ok, dude - straight up, don't get mad: You approached the rear fender the wrong way. You cut and salvaged the front half, when you should have actually cut and tossed the front half. Reason: If you cut and tossed the front, you could have kept the factory edge of your fender by simply sliding it forward and mounting it. But you didn't do that and your new fender edge looks a bit jagged.
In this pic the tire gap is very tall. I actually don't mind the gap between the fender and tire as much. Look at the area where I drew a yellow circle. You need to cut those sections off that mount to the fender and redrill new mounting points in the fender to eliminate that. If you lower the fender, that will also solve the issue. If you want a straight across fender line, buy a sturdy sanding block and some 36 grit paper. Go back and forth under "the gadget" numerous times to make it even and level. Just throwing my 2 cents to ya. Appreciate constructive criticism.
