Default I got my Bikers Friend on!

Saddlebags for sale!!!

The provided nylon straps were perfect. the bungee did not do me much good, so I went to the petstore for an adjustable dog collar. funny thing they had Harley collars, and they have them in orange(the same color as my LED's). this sucker is on very secure and the bungee acts as a backup.
I'll let you know how the next few rides treat the new setup.
Now I can carry stuff and still show off my shocks AND fit a FF helmet.
GOODBYE SADDLEBAGS!

I have the basic version of that bag in Large.
I am selling mine, not because I dont like it....cause I love it.
They go on quick and come off quick and I you can put a full face helmet in the large and then some.
Just dont ride in the winter that much.
also they are strong you can take it off the bike and sit on it!
Your going to love it.

What size did you go with chamba? I'm thinking medium large -basic. But I'm not sure if it'll be big enough.

I thought that the best look for my setup would be M, but I went with L because the purpose of buying it is to have space so I can make useful trips and ride more. Storage was my only need, but the back rest is supercomfy. I actually just got off of it and I like where the L sits with no sissy bar in regards to back support or leanback support.
I forsee that I will be relaxing at red lights.

How many days worth of clothes would you say you can fit in the large?

what he said. that depends on how dirty you can handle.(10 underwear, 1 jean, 2 shirt= 10 days)

I am a family man with a 2 month old so touring outside my city is limited to dayrides with my dad. I am trying to be able to show up to the jobsite and store my FF helmet, and pull out my hardhat. Make more runs to HEB or HomeDepot without the truck. just spend more useful time on the bike.

I had never seen those before with a back rest. That's makes it dual purpose and I looked them up, they are pretty cheap too. I bought a solid back rest for mine, had I known about those I might have gone that route,

Are you listing your saddle bags anywhere for sale?

I will probably put them on the local craigslist for $55. message me if you want to see them, but shipping them would be extra. we could do a deal, but there is nothing special about my saddlebags, I'll take a pic to be prepared for you.

While riding around I was very much enjoying the back support. before ordering I thought that it might hinder my driving, but now that I have spun the tires with the bikers friend on I am happy with the support.
