Is it black & will it fit a 2011 48? If so I'll take it.
Well, it isn't black, and as far as fitment I don't know. It is a take off from my 07 Heritage and it is silver. If you want it I can ship asap. Not sure about the fitment though.
Pretty sure the Iron, Nightster and 48 use harleys "chopped" rear fender. The fender is unique to those models. Iknow you can get one from HD, but that may cost more than you want to spend.

i feel your pain, backed completely over my buddy's 47 knuckle with a chevy z71 about 12yrs ago. and all we broke the kickstand and the mirror if you can beleive it (they don't make emlike they used to!). i was 25 and damn near thought he was gonna kill me, he's an oldhead warlock from philly and i honestly thought he was going to tie me to the bumper of his truck. i had to gather myself and go back inside my house and tell this dude i just ran over the bike he's had since he was 17. i feel your pain trust me but you're right this is a good time to throw it on the stand and chop that thing. you choppin the fender struts too? if so i would use a sawzaw for that and an angle grinder for the fender. good luck, post some pics when shes all back together.
Mine fell over years ago, the throttle slid up the bars a wee bit. It would not start after that because one of the wires got pinched by the "dimples." Be sure to check and see that the wiring was not damaged.

Thanks. I just ordered that set. As far as cutting the struts, I'm not doing that because in the future I'll be having my daughter ride some w/me. Anybody cut their rear fender just past the brace? I'm wondering if the brace is visible if cut there.
