Is anyone using these from J&P?
Also, where is the best place to buy OEM Sportster pegs? I don't want anything flashy, just the same rubber pegs that come on the bike. Is there a good place online? The Harley dealers don't seem to sell them on the floor.

I want those same pegs but I have yet to find them in black!!!
Sorry that does not answer your question I do know I have seen a few bikes on the forum with them and your peg choice is pretty much limit-less
Warrick... what did you pay for the powder coating? Just curious what I should expect to pay but heck, for adjustable highway pegs at half the cost of the HD part... if I can get them matte/flat black for another $100 that is fine by me! Nice looking bike by the way.

A hundred bucks should easily cover powder coating those 6 pieces.
For the factory foot pegs, check the classifieds section here in the HDF. They come up pretty regular. Dealers should have some new take-offs and would keep them in their stock room, not on the showroom floor.
I replaced the aftermarket chrome pegs my bike came with with the basic rubber pegs from HD. Got them from the local HD dealer for $12 per. They don't keep the generic rubber ones out on the floor (all those were $100). I asked the parts guy for some pegs without all that *** *** chrome, just rubber pegs. They were even American made.

Thanks!
I went over to my local dealer and they already had a few things they were sending to the local powder coat guy, just added mine in. They charged me $40 to do the brackets and just rounded up to $50 and put them on for me also.
Not everywhere is as cheap as po dunk Iowa though.
Thanks for the info. I was thinking about just painting these black myself. I assume I could just scuff up the chrome and give them a nice flat black paint job.

If I may ask. Whereabouts in Iowa? I'm from Des Moines myself, not quite po dunk, but still good ol Iowa.
