I'm wondering if anyone has a quick recommendation for a dust cover for my Sportster. My bike is garaged, but I'm having the attic area above the garage converted to a bedroom and the sheetrock dust is going to be hideous and will be in the garage.
I don't want to break the bank buying one (I've seen 'em out there for like $150...no way!) but I also don't want to just drape a sheet over it.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. I've checked out Wal-Mart and Target online and they have some inexpensive ones but I also don't want to get something that's either not going to fit well enough to keep the dust out or which has an interior fabric with a rough texture.
Nelson-Rigg makes 1/2 covers. They are easy to use, compact and quality. Do a search and should find several. When I "tour" I dont carry my full cover anymore, I use the small quick on/off cover. $35 area
I've got a great Nelson Riggs for the X that was cheap but GREAT. OTOH, I bought another for the Sporty + gave it away. Size large just barely pulled over the front tire with no bags or shield. It was a DC-500 cover, don't buy it. Their other lt blu dust covers are great.
