Nice work. I agrre that they look a little wide but if they feel good then ride them. A friend of mine had a custom built bike and he felt the bars were too wide. He cut out the amount he wanted from where the bars go under the clamp and then welded them back together. He primed and painted the weld so it wouldn't rust and it's all hidden under the handlebar clamp.

Looks great man, really like the 48 front end, I would just install a nightster or iron tank, as I don't much care for the peanut. I may have to buy one of these next, debating on a 48 or a street glyde, I could straight up pimp a 48 out for the price of a street........
