The one time I ran mine with just the headers I had flames shooting out the end. A couple of the neighbors got a kick out of it.......The wife, now ex-wife, not so much.

this can be done without much loss to power and i may do it myself. have some exhaust tips welded on the ends of the headers and insert some lolipop baffles about 3-4" in from the end. you will have to secure the end of the rear pipe to the frame somehow. i was asking around because i'm interested in doing this and one very knowledgeable person here on the forum (won't mention names) said that the exhaust will twist and loosen and you'll have to stay on top of the head bolts if that's the only means of securing your pipes. i'm currently scouring shops in my area for a set of take off header pipes. should look like this.....

I have some with little to no miles on them I'll hook ya up with off my 08 N. They are in white wrap and the heatshields are (I think) wrinkle black if you even wanted them. I also have the bracket / crossover pipe and unmolested slip-ons, but I doubt they'd do you any good. I think shipping might be the killer though. PM me with what you had in mind and we'll see what we can do. You lookin for an alternative to the Side Shots?

This is what I'm going to try. Worst case scenario I'll only be out the $20 for the DK torques.

...which would prob. come in handy for any drag pipe you might end up with, or would at least sell in the classifieds for a decent return.
