The stupid looking riser is the only thing I don't like about my 05 custom. I was at the dealer last weekend and looked at a 07 low sitting next to a custom like mine. The low's short riser with spedo forward and pull back bars looked much better to me. Looks like a fairly easy mod, anybody done this?
I also like these, http://www.jpcycles.com/product/500-236, but don't know how to deal with the wires and spedo mount. Would love to see more of custom riser options. Thanks, JF
I have an 04 Custom and wanted to do the tank lift. The stock risers wouldn't allow it so I ditched the riser/speed0 combo, went to a T-Bar, and just bought an aftermarket long narrow speedo to attached to the T-Bar. Really like the look of T-Bars on the custom with a tank lift. It gives it more of a chopper look.
