Akrapovic exhaust?
Anyone have these pipes? I just recently started looking again, these look pretty bad ***.

Did not think about that...
I get my taxes this week, and bonus check next, may very well be getting something new soon. I will let you know on the pipes if I get new ones.

Akrapovic only recently came into the hd world. So not to many people know about them unless they also deal with sport bikes. Their build quality is top notch I can't really say anything against the company itself. Every exhaust I've seen from them is great and has excellent sound along with performance. They are one of the few manufacturers able to get bikes before they are released to the public so they can have their parts ready sooner. I've seen a documentary on their factory and it is quite impressive.

unfortunately, looks like I would have to dump my highway pegs for these to fit. No forwards...

Well, having someone interested in the pipes and highway pegs might make this a bit cheaper. I will definitely keep you posted on what I do, will make the call soon either way.
The highway supports are PC'd black, also have black diamond pegs on them. They are HD part.
