Guys here is a question that has been on my mind. I have a 1200 Custom and I would like to go to a wider handlebar but I don't want to have to extend any cables. How wide can I go using the stock cables?

I put 32" wide bars on mine, and still had a bit of slack.

http://www.google.com/products/catal...ed=0CFYQ8wIwAg these fit without moding anything and are wider than stock. However, with the stock brake line you won't get much taller or wider than this.

Stock Dyna handle bars=problem solved, thats what i did, and you can actually see whats behind you instead of seeing your shoulders with the stock Sportster bars.

x2

I had to re route the electrical to the top side of the neck bolt. Still looks good and no mess on the side of the steering neck.
