So I just bought a set of Samson Street Sweeters for my '02 1200C. I'm also goin to get it jetted. Any suggestions on jet kits or does it really matter.
Honestly I'm not to sure exactly what I'm looking for so and advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Also, I was told to order new gaskets as well so I did. Is there anything else I'll be needing for the pipes or jet kit? Thanks again.
Hi Wizzle73,
A jet kit can be purchased from your local dealer for your stock CV carb. They are not too expensive and you can tune your carb to run perfect with the exhaust you have. You may want to start out moderate and work your way through the jets until you get it perfect.
Thanks,
JR

Thanks for the help JR. I'm just wanting to make sure I can get it done as quickly and correctly as possible. I figured if I had already gotten everything the guy at the shop couldn't give me no excuse for not getting the job done in a timely manner.
They have excellent products, but customer service is sub par in my opinion.
Thanks, I read up on it and by the way it sounds I may be able to do all this myself instead of putting it in the shop. My only worry is concern is messing it up and being SOL.
I'll recommend the same thing I always do, you don't need one of those over priced jet kits all you need is a 45 slow jet and a 180 main jet, that's it nothing else.
