Default factory pegs-stock vs anti-vibration?

i'm changing to mid controls on my 97 1200c and i need some pegs. i'm kinda cheap (just spent $200 for the mids) so i was looking at pegs. are the harley "anti-vibration" pegs that are larger diameter any better than the skinny stock ones? is there enough adjustment in the controls to compensate for the larger diam pegs? the prices on ebay are within a few dollars, so cost isn't an issue. eventually i'll upgrade, but the financial adviser says i have to wait. thanks!

Are you sure the stock pegs haven't been switched out?.....Because the stock pegs are larger diameter black rubber anit-vibration pegs like in this picture:

I changed mine out from the stockers to a set of DK Bear Traps. I haven't really noticed a difference except that my feet are more comfortable now vs. the stock pegs. For me, I notice a change when I wear boots vs. shoes and that went for both sets of pegs. Maybe someone who has them will chime in.

And after looking at the picture I posted, and thinking back......That is a picture of the stock passenger pegs, not the stock mid pegs. The stock mid pegs are even bigger than that with a slanted end on them.

Vibration? My first 2 bikes were thumpers. My 2nd a twin, the next 2 were triples. I'm fine with the vibes on my XL. My brother rode it an hour and said his hands were numb.

I've got the HD Heel Raisers on mine, but I also have forwards. Very comfortable, and even better for longer hauls with the heel rests flipped out. Takes the strain off the calf muscles.

i guess i was just wondering if there was a difference between the big diam pegs, or the skinny ones, and which ones are stock on my 97 1200? i have forward controls, but i need to order pegs for my mid controls, as i'm keeping the forward foot pegs as highway pegs.
