The front sole looks too thick on those, for riding I like a thin rubber sole like this one.

The problem with boots in my situtation is that I cannot get my toe under the shifter lever with some boots, I wear Carolina's(hiking boot) they work for me, pain in the *** to lace up and tuck in the laces, need a zip up boot, and still looking.

I wear the Bates 8' Ultra-Lite Tactical side zip boots at work and also while riding. They are $69.95 at Bass Pro Shop.
