I'm just about 200lbs "geared up", I've been trying to dial it in the last couple of weeks, and an have been running anywhere between 3 and 8 psi, 6 seems to work best for me. Two up (wife is maybe 140 fully geared up) I'm running 15psi.
I bought a pair that were nearly new with no issue and properly sealed for $60 on EBay. They bolt right on with 2 washers top and bottom to space them out for more clearance.
They did raise my 1200 Low by around an inch at the seat. With 5 lbs psi they ride the best. More or less air seems to make them ride rougher. They are 15 lbs stiffer each than stock so they don't ride smoother. But they do help handling and do much better than stock on really rough roads. They don't bottom out. I had 12 inch Proggressive shocks on another sporty that rode smoother by a slight amount. I pretty sure I am going to try 13 inch proggressives but still looking.
