So I commute on the parkway daily and am now going to e using the bike more often. What is the deal with ez pass in NJ for a motorcycle ... I registered my plate to my account do I still need to have a tag on it ? If so what are some of the best places/ ways to put it on my bike ... Also is there a discount for Motos in NJ or no ?
Thanks a lot every1 the people at EZ pass are useless and that's if you can manage to get past the one million automated questions to get a live person on the phone ... The woman who took my plate info down asked me how to spell " Davidson" I think that explains it well enough
I know in the Dallas/Ft Worth area I have never been able to get my tag to read on any of my bikes. As long as you have an account the toll will show up on your account as an alert. After riding any of the tolls I would just log into my account and authorize the transaction to clear the alert.
hat id di bro... just order the one that is supposed to go on the outside of the car, unfortunately there is no discount for bikes... which is effed up

What he said. I have two bikes registered to my ezpass, but the transponder lives in my SUV. They pick it up via photo and it gets charged to the account automatically. Unlike dallas, however I don't have to clear anything, no alert is generated.. (Maryland)

Do not get the 'outsdie of the car ez pass'. It is large. It is made to bolt to a cars license plate. I just mini-bungie mine to the handle bars and it works fine. If I think it will rain I put it in a baggie.

Me too in FL. It's called Pay-By-Plate here. If it didn't work I'd be in jail by now.
Thanks everyone the tolls are a real pita ... And ever since I've seen it happen i have the fear of getting rear ended when stoping to pay.
You're not kidding! Too many odd lights and what not at toll booths, a bike could easily disappear at the gate and WHAMMO, you're dead. Plus - the spot where you stop to pay is slippery as get out with oil from stopped cars, it's really loud, and confusing and easy to get nervous and all out of sorts.
