Default Burly Clutch Pull

Has anyone else had a problem with the Burly Clutch being really stiff, and especially hard when releasing the clutch while taking off from a stop? When I release the clutch to engage,he throttle the clutch is not smooth, and I have to release the lever in stages making my primary to jerk. I have tried lubing the cable with Inox and I have made all proper adjustments. Thanks for anyone's input.

I found a thread that hits on this. Something about the nylon coating binding. Gonna check it out.

It will get better, mine had a creek when pulling in, went away. I also had the same issue your talking about at first, but not now...give it time.

I took the Burly cable, threw it across the room and then installed a cable from Drag Specialties.

The Burly cables are junk.

I put some white lightening in the cable housing. The release was so stiff that the primary was jerking and clanging when I tried to take off. The white lightening has improved the function quit a bit and I'll give it a little time like you suggest.

I've had bad experience with drag specialties throttle/idle cable and I think their cables are junk. HD actually has some of the better cables in my opinion. If the Burly doesn't work I'll spend $40 on a HD cable.
