Maybe I'm just too wide of a guy, but I just got an 09 sportster and the mirrors show nothing except my shoulders. Does anybody have any input on a set that shows at least a little bit of what's behind me?
Thanks.
How are they adjusted? I had the same problem with my '02 till a bro showed me this trick. There is a ball on the back of the mirror that lets you adjust it to the desired angle, move the mirror till that ball lines up with the ball on the end of the brake and/or clutch lever. I know this doesn't sound like it will work but it worked for me, give it a try before you buy new mirrors, unless you really want new ones.

Thanks, I'll check that. Didnt really look like there was any adjustment to be made but I'll look.
Not sure what tank he has. This works for 3.3, but it smacked on my 4.5 and I hadda put them back topside.
The long stem mirrors don't look out of place, and while they do shake a bit more, it's not generally an issue. The stock shorts all I saw was shoulder. The longs I can see a car behind me in both mirrors.
