Hallo my friends.
I have a small problem. I have 1987 883 Sporster. I replaced original 18" front wheel with 16" front wheel. What speedometer should I mount to have right speed if I still want to use my original 18" speedometer drive unit? What speedometer or kit do I need?
I think it would really depend on the actual diameter difference between the two wheels. I don't know the exact parts of the older speedo cable drive systems, but I think there's a little gear in there that turns the cable that can be switched out to change the ratio at which the cable is turned.
