Default fuel light problem

I have a 2011 883 superlow and am having problems with the fuel light coming on with an almost full tank of gas. I will be 54 miles into a new tank of gas and the fuel light will come on. Anyone else having this problem?

Well it sounds like your sensor
PN: 75302-07A Sensor, Low Fuel
Take it down to the dealer, if youve still got the warranty it should cover it. If not just run about 100 miles fill it and do the math. Do it a couple times and you should be able to figure out what you get from a tank.
