removing baffles?
any tips or tricks to removing the baffles on my straight shot slip on's. i have been told i can drill the plug out, or take a small diameter long rod and tap it out. do both methods require the removal of the pipes. also i dont care how loud they are BUT are they gunna sound good still or will they sound horrible.

Well since 883 is in your name I'm Guna guess you've got an iron (I'm on my phone so can't see pics) anyways. Once I removed the baffles from my slip ons I defiantly noticed the volume. But the sound did lose the sharpness it had with them in. It didn't really sound like a Harley but more liked buddies vtx 1300 Honda. Which is like somebody beating a snare drum with the beads or what ever they're called loosened. As far as pulling them off impulse the slips off and knocked them out with a broom handle after pulling one but and bolt securing it in. To easy to do.
