Default How to center bars?

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but i've searched around and can't seem to find what im looking for, i just swapped the stock bars on my 09 custom with some 28" drag bars the other day, whats the best way to make sure they are straight and square on both sides? whats a good measuring point? ive tried the use knurl in the center but once i put the speedo back up on there, i can't see the marks anymore, "eye balling" it, it "looks" ok...but i dont want to take ANY chances...
please help!!...thanks

Just measure out 2 inch's from the knurl and put some tape there. then once you put the clamp back on you have a place to measure from on each side. Get the distance the same and wala its centered.

LOL don't take it back apart. just go from the tip of each side to the riser sides. Like 04 said just use your eyes unless of course your blind :-). You should be ok.

Thinking about going lock to lock and measuring the end of each grip to the tank...think that would work?

How about measuring end to end and find the middle. See if that's lined up with the center of your top-clamp.
