Alien Motion 12 Cell Lithium Ferrous battery. Smaller than stock so you'll end up with more room in the battery compartment. It will sometimes hesitate slightly on start up, almost like it doesn't have enough juice to turn the motor over. But don't worry, it does. I'm pleased with it. $139. Quick delivery.

I'm not running the kill switch on mine. Just capped the wired and left it tucked in the harness.

A note on the battery, pretty sure you'll need one with an "L" code on it. Not sure if it's the same for you but I recently had to replace a battery on my '11. Every place I went had the correct size battery, but ALL of them had the poles on the opposite sides of the factory battery. I finally was able to track one down at a Pepboys. The batteries with the "L" in the sizing code denotes what side the poles are on.

Also if you're still questioning the giant brake reservior/switch housing/throttle on the right side here's a couple options for not a bunch of $$$. This is the setup I'm using on my XS650(minus switches of course) and my bars are super skinny. Like ~24" skinny. I bought my perch/MC/lever for like $20 on Ebay and a cheap universal throttle for about $20 also. Should make for a nice minimal look. The factory MC looks a bit oversized on a set of narrow bars. Just an idea.

No new pics yet. I took the rear fender to work yesterday and drilled the seat hole and side mount holes. Still deciding on a paint color. I went to napa and advance for switches but their selection sucks, so today i will hit up lowes. I also need to buy a battery. Not much gets done during the week, so hopefully this weekend i will have a lot more done. I dont have anybody here to give me a hand or anything. Still trying to figure out my front fender setup too.
