I had to run wires down the bars for the brake light switch. As much as I didn't want to, I had to otherwise the light wouldn't work and my rear brake light switch has been broken, so I didn't wanna ride around with no brake light. It was either do this or wire it so the brake light was always on. This was an easy decision for me.
I have ridden with only drag bars or clip-ons. I had my clip-ons for over 2 years and when I took this pig out tonight with the 8" Z's................
Holy **** it's different. I was actually scared. I took it out for about 45 minutes and no **** -- - - - - - some dude and his wife held up a green arrow to compliment the bike. It felt good, but I told him I'm still not done. People were beeping at him. F'ing hilarious!
I need to get used to the bars. Feels weird, but pretty neat.
The whole green light scenario is awesome, but so is the bike! So, front fender and a paint scheme is next, right? I've only ridden with apes or buckhorns, and when I swapped to drag bars I was edgy myself. I know exactly what you were feeling! The "holy ****, what have I done" feeling! I won't ride with anything other than drags now tho. God job, keep us posted!
Looks good man. I went from drags to Biltwell Frisco's and was freaked out when I rode it at first. My hands kept going numb too, so I ditched them and went back to drags. I wasn't patient enough to get used to them.
dude it feels wierd because you're running them like some little kid in the ghetto runs them on his bmx. wayyyyy to far forward. pull em back and starighten out the lines of the bike. i love the rear fender man but i think you can chop a little more off and get it down closer to the rear wheel. bike looks cool tho man, right up my alley.
