I actually like the look of the bars pushed forward like that. I have no experience with bars that high or that far forward but suspect it would be weird at first. Great overall look Street.
Over 2 years ago i saw this video. Ever since tben i wanted z bars like the dude in the blue skid lid with the nightster. This is where it all started for me...
Ok stop crying about the angle of the bars. I really dig them. I pulled them back to 90 degrees today and was like, BLEH! So I moved them back.
BMX, I have heard of people having their unknurled bars move on them, however, I have not had an issue yet. I believe it's because the powder is so damn thick. I also remember you saying you haven't had any issues. Is this still true? If I do have an issue down the road I will throw some sandpaper under the clamp to hold them, but so far, so good as Bryan Adams would say.
Too much black going on, so I sanded the fender down with 180 for 2 reasons. I like bare metal and I want it to rust a little to give it some character and "soul". Looks better than a plain black fender IMO.
Not that my opinion matters but I love this version of your bike the most.
I really do appreciate that. Not that opinions matter, but a positive opinion turns into a compliment. I have never really cared about what people have thought, because my bike is the one thing I have loved ever - regardless of what people have said. I (at one point in time) loved, and I mean LOVED every version I created. I just slowly outgrew them.
Can't put my finger on it SF, but it doesn't quite look finished. Not sure what or why, just some aspect looks unfinished. Not the rear fender, that looks good.
-maybe the tank needs to match the fender-
