I really do appreciate that. Not that opinions matter, but a positive opinion turns into a compliment. I have never really cared about what people have thought, because my bike is the one thing I have loved ever - regardless of what people have said. I (at one point in time) loved, and I mean LOVED every version I created. I just slowly outgrew them.
Thanks for the honesty.
Understood I had my budget build Sporty in mind for years before snagging the right bike and pulling it apart last fall. Not sure that I will ever be done with this bike. Im having too much fun messing with it to finish and just leave her alone.
The tank cant match the fender. It has body filler in it so it cant be blasted. I dont think i can part with the chameleon after all.....
What about doing the fender to match the tank?
And I'm not knocking your work or your taste. You've done more to your ride than half of the people on here will ever do. I simply think that there is something missing. Something simple and small to pull it all together, that's all. Regardless, as always, good job!
Can't put my finger on it SF, but it doesn't quite look finished. Not sure what or why, just some aspect looks unfinished. Not the rear fender, that looks good.
-maybe the tank needs to match the fender-
I think its cause he doesnt have side covers on lol
The bike looks effin sick though. I would take pictures of it if I saw it in a random place thats for sure.

I agree, but, if you look at all of the transformations the thing has been thru, they all look complete, all look tied together, no unfinished look, IMO. Not this version. Just sayin'. Not that my opinion could buy you a cup of coffee.
Like it a lot man. I really like the contrast of the bare fender especially once it rusts a little throw some clear on it bam! I've been contemplating doing it for a few year now to my tins because I'm tired of scratching the paint and think it looks bad ***. Maybe this winter I'll break out the SOS pads....
Now we are talking...very nice job...I agree I love this version of your bike. I think you've inspired me to sand mine down to the bare metal..I think it looks great.
