i know...it's a shovel. frankly, the coolest one i ever seen. seat doesn't really matter to be honest. what i'm sayin is if you chop the sides down on your fender you can get it closer and still have the kick up. if it's small enough in length all you need to use is the rear fender mount under the seat and that's it. that's all i got holding mine on. it's your bike bro, i aint trying to tell ya what to do, just what's possible. what does show bike have to do with anything? mine aint no show bike either and my fender isn't slammed but it seems to flow better with the rear of the bike because it's closer to the tire and still got the crazyorange kick up, lol. again, just my opinion and no need to get your panties in a bunch brother. if that's how you envisioned it, then you win!

here's a guy i know in philly, got a fat boy front fender, chopped the **** out of it and it looks dope! as you can see, he's only using that rear fender mount tab under the seat. it can be done if you want to....sounds like you'd like to but got frustrated with the mounting. no?

do i need to drive down there? lol. dude no disrespect bro, you know that! but, you can get it lower if you really "want" to. this **** looks proper dont it? i'm ready to buy one of these fenders and go to town just to show you it can be done brutha.

That bike is so slick. Thing about that rear fender is if you notice it's REALLY close to the rear tire. So I'll guess those shocks have little to no travel in them. Have to remember SF still needs room for shock travel. I think SF's setup looks fine.

On a less related note....anyone else notice mreed hasn't posted in the last couple months?

you guys actually watch for certain peeps to post and if they don't you get worried? that's fvcken funny. the closeness of the fender to the tire is not what i was referring to, i was referring to how much more was chopped off the fender that's all. i give up...

AND we watch for you to not post!!

SF, I know my opinion isn't worth spit to ya, BUT, yes, please cut more off of the fender. No matter how many times I look at it, I keep picturing Donald Duck's mouth. Sorry man.

i mean...it all depends on how you were envisioning it. if this is how you wanted it to look from the jump then i'd say no. if it were me and i was going for that "CO" look...i'd have a lot more choppin' to do. i really like how that dudes bike looks that i posted (the maroon 48). i saw it in person and he did a great job with that fender. i really might do this in the winter, i'm sure i can find a take off @ the shop.
