Default right blinker won't stop, won't start

So, my right blinker won't turn of, but it's also not getting power to the starter switch, what could be doing this?

Greetings p smurf 1982

my right blinker won't turn off,

but it's also not getting power to the starter switch,

what could be doing this?

1st thing make & model?
2nd have there been any mods or changes?
3rd do you have a multi meter?

02 sportster 1200, only mod is drag bars, and yes, i have a multi meter, no power to the starter switch

I've heard it could be the turn signal control module,

If your not getting power to the start switch then you need to find where the break is in that wire from the battery to the start switch 1st.

Yeah, but that still doest explain the blinker not shutting off

I would check the wiring on the bars, mainly where they go up into the switch housing. The wiring could be pinched between the control housing and the bar. Or if wired internally through the bars, there could be bad wires inside the bars or maybe a bad splice if wiring was extended.

Since the "only mood is drag bars" my guess would be that both the "not stopping" and "no power problem" are cause by pinched or cut wires up near switches.

All wires are good, the switch is completely apart, i can unplug the connection in the headlight bucket, and it stays on solid, still won't start, but when i plug it back in, more blinking...
