Have you guys had any awkward encounters with other unknown riders at intersections? I always want to pull up on the side of other riders at intersections but every single encounter that I had, it was just weird and awkward. Do you guys have the same feeling in that situation or how do you look at it
Next time someone pulls up next to you at a light, just look straight at them in the eyes and growl like a mad dog. The kids on the rice rockets love it.
Probably best to avoid the forced hello at intersections. Anywhere else you might stop is a different story...
I get more 'whats ups' and head nods at gas stations, grocery stores and random other places just by wearing a jacket and carrying the helmet and there's rarely any awkwardness...
I never ride up next to someone that I don't know; not surprised you've come away with less than a warm embrace
I usually stick out like a sore thumb because of my age but I always park next to bikers even if they are waaaay more hardcore than me, not saying im hardcore at all, just saying im not mean looking than the ones I usually park next too. So far its been good, even though they look like they are going to kill me, they've actually stood up for me when a cop told me to park somewhere else. I think people should get this biker vs biker stuff out of their heads and just realize we all ride cuz we love it. Thats my mind set and so far, maybe im pushing my luck and will get my butt kicked soon by some hardcore biker lol
