I need to lower my wife's 09 Custom 1200 at least an inch. Does anyone have any lowering block recommendations/experience? I've looked at a few but am not sure what's the best way to go for a minimal price.
I looked at these but I am skeptical that the 1/4" metal is robust enough.
Looks similar to the kit I ordered off ebay, been running it since April and have had zero issues with it
Also I took this opportunity to get rid of those HORRIBLE torx bolts, went to the hardware store and found the same size for a few bucks, definitely recommend. Anyways as a heads up I think ebay had that kit for around 20 ish also. Good luck!
Running the same on my 07. You will want to get longer bolts and several washers for the top of the shock for spacing. Otherwise you put the shock in a bind and it will make for a rough ride. I have had zero issues with these lowering blocks.

My fiance put these on his bike, but in the 2nd slot and the seat bolt ate a pattern into his back tire. He ended up having to remove them and go back to the stock setup. Good thing he was ready for tires
