I have a 2008 Nightster I'm going to do a 48 headlight and speedo conversation I know what I need and how to do it. Its easy and I'm also a machinist. And don't tell me do the joker or rsd mount I'm not going to.

Ok so the bolts that mount the risers to the triple clamp they will show more after the mod. Are there black covers or better looking bolts? Should I just paint them black?

I know what my dad would say "no ones going to see them" but I do and I'm a stickler for details.

Last I knew, HD made "caps" for them. Or google "hottoppers" as they definitely offer black as well as chrome. I believe they're out of WI.
