I decided to make a bracket to hold my new heat control for my Gerbing G3 gloves I got. Here it is, made from a piece of aluminum angle that I cut off of a bedrail mount for the old tonneau cover from my truck. Whatcha think?

Yo 'Red! Ahhhhhhhhhh, necessity is the Mother of invention; looks like a good idea! 'Got any pics of how and where it mounts, and is it going to be easily removeable when the good weather sets in again??
Suuuuupppp Drew! It bolts on using the thank mount bolt in front of the seat, bout two minutes on and off, I'll get some pics in the morning! I didn't have any extra after the gloves and controller, but I have a dremel with all the goodies lol. So, I set out for a mounted solution to make heat adjustments easier. He, it was free, only took a little bit of time. How's riding in your neck of the woods?
Good idea. I need to rig up something similar for my Ultra. Now you got me thinking.
Glad I can spark an idea for you lol! Mine involved beer, and improvements on the fly. I tested fit about 20 times, making little tweaks here and there. I'll post more pics without the seat tomorrow.

'Red, thanks fer the x'splanation and looking forward to the pics!
As to your question...I've been riding pretty regularly after work during the past few months [dispite the fact that it's winter here in NY] and on weekends when time/schedule and the weather allows. About the coolest I've been out in thusfar has been 30° or so. Brrrrrrrrr. 'Shoulda seen the odd looks I got that day, and although it wasn't too bad it did take me about 2 hours to defrost that time hahahahaha. I don't have heated gear so I just layer up with the shirts, thermals top and bottom, leather overpants, good jacket, headrag, a bandana nose down and a shorty helmet. Yeah I should prolly go with a different helmet but that might ruin my hair [heheh]. I do ok but seeing you making mods to easily adjust your heat thingies is giving me food for thought [that's code for: hey ******** - how about getting yourself some heated gear?!].
Lol Drew! I'm gonna ride for a few then get some more pics up for ya! It's not too bad here, just at night when I ride the most is cold. By the way, heated gloves rock!
