Nightster side stand fault code

The side stand fault code comes up on the dash but the stand is up. It is preventing the bike from running. Any ideas on how to get the bike running so I can get it to the dealers?

I have no idea if Harley's work the same.. but once I had a sports bike that did that to me once. There was a small switch located under the bike which was pressed every time the stand was up. I disconnected the switch and cleaned the socket, adjusted the position since the screw holding the bracket was a bit loose and had some play.. connected everything back together and it worked.
Again.. I haven't seen any switches like those on HD's but I'm probably wrong.

give the ****er a good shake and get it there quick ...thats what i did
