2013 Iron 883 - Damn you Harley
Seeing as how this is my first post i'll introduce my self.

-20 year old student/pharm tech
-been riding for 2 years, previously had an R6
-I like pie.
After doing extensive research on credit and such, I was going to buy a harley the smart way. Saving up for a fat down, and building credit for a good loan. Well **** me. After school today, I decided to head over to my local Harley Dealership just to look around. They had a sale going on 6500 for a brand new one. Now I own one. Kind of.
yeah they gave me a complimentary bottle of tequila
Now the bad news, financing $8500, at 20%
, for 72 months.They put me on the first buyers program, because i have a limited credit. I'd be ****ing retarded to let that one keep up. The plan is to pay roughly at LEAST 500/mo and in due time, refinance that bish when the credit is there.
The
part : because i wasnt aware i would be buying a motorcycle today, i didnt have enough on me to throw down for the down payment. I have to pick it up during the week.
Plans: (all pretty general, havent done the proper research)
-short shots, it needs to be louder.
-air filter, not sure which one
-tuner
-foward controls, I'm 6'0ft tall
-new seats, I want to sit a little bit down more if that makes sense
-biltwell breezer bars
-speedo relo
-1200 conversion IN TIME

LOL, welcome and congrats! It's only money buba! That's an awesome ride and I highly doubt that you'll regret your purchase. One weekend out on that pup and you'll be inseparable!

Congrat's man,screw it,you own it now! I just paid mine off in December. When I bought it I actually bought a used 1 cash but they were clearing out the 06's in Feb. 07' so I got my 883C for $7400 + Financing. My ol' lady wanted one & it was her B-day the following weekend so I decided to buy 2. Unfortunately she is to nervous of a driver to ride her own and traded it for a Convertable
