Default Need Help // Struts: Biltwell vs. DK Custom

I'm going to hardtail my bike in the next couple weeks & I can't seem to find much info from patrons on the DK Customs hard tail struts. (http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Slam...-DK-10-STR.htm)

Plenty of people have run the Biltwells(http://www.biltwellinc.com/index.php...ct_detail&p=31) & seem to love them.

The DK's are half the price & made in America, I have DK's coil relocation & know the quality of their work. I will say I think the Biltwell's look a little better but wanted to know if any of you guys had experience with the the DK's, good or bad?

Any help greatly appreciated!

I don't know to much about them yet and i don't know if i will be of much help but i've been reading alot about them and i have seen a lot of people with the biltwell struts. i do agree with you that the bit well does look a bit better, but you said you've got DK's coil relcator and you know how good a quality their work is. so you can go either direction with it. you can go with something you know is good or take a chance with biltwell.

Thanks for the feed back guys, think I'll end up doing the DK's.

& 'c0jones' those are beautiful but don't see the need to pay double & triple the cost, respectively, of the struts I'm already considering..

DK will be my choice for anything they have that I need for my bike. One question and they called me right away on my phone. I sent a PM on here and they called me to make sure my question was answered correctly.

That kind of service is hard to find. DK all the way.

While I agree DK custom has great stuff.

I would just go with whoever is less expensive...i mean all you are paying for with a "hardtail" strut is a solid piece of metal with holes for bolts on the ends. Either is gonna have the same effect.

Feel you. DK is also the less expensive, by half basically.
