Places sell various size seats. La Rosa has 13", 16" and 17" solo spring seats. As a general rule, how can I gauge what size to get? (since I'm buying online vs dealer) Bigger *** = biggest seat? Go with the 16" to be safe? I'm putting it on a Sportster. I'm 6' and ~280lbs.
The Harley brand seat didn't work out for mounting, so I'm going with La Rosa Design for the seat.
I guess it may be down to how far do you plan on riding your bike! The wider it is, the further you are likely to get.....
How wide is the seat you currently have and how does that compare with those three sizes? Take a tape measure down to your local dealer and try some bikes to see if you can get to the bottom of the problem. Sorry, couldn't resist!
